Home and away: poet's writing course on aspects of 'abroad'

entry picture

Poet Alexandra Corrin-Tachibana, who last year published a debut collecton that centred on her 10 years in Japan, is running a series of online writing workshops on Wednesday mornings online, beginning on 27 September. Writing Home from Abroad will consider not only writing about being abroad but also explore notions of 'abroad' and 'home'.

There are still places available in the group, which will be capped at 10 participants. It will run for five weeks on Wednesday mornings 10 - 11.30am and will include close readings of poems, weekly writing prompts and a chance for each member to workshop a poem. Payment is via PayPal or bank transfer and is £100 for five weeks of 90-minute seminars. Email Alexandra.corrin@ncl.ac.uk for more details.
