Summer feeling 2.0

Hot’s in my bed, salt breeze invades my dreams, the sun kissing my skin, red cheeks when I saw you here, temptress you said: “We can have a drink by the beach”, I feel this will be a tragic trip, I said yes, I haven't heard myself, how would I know you would put me in a shipwreck? I should've known by the blue in your eyes, your face is not from this town.

I got a feeling in my bones, summer is chasing us, we can melt and freeze again, and we got no time to die, this is fleeting as life, take my hand and lose me in yourself, teach me how to use myself, I've been lost since the fall of snow, lets the sun burn our souls, my skin needs a tan of love til my heart hurts.

Summer's here, the water is clear, we're touching the sand, the heat is melting us down, we need to look for a lonely isle, where we can live this daydream, you will be mine until the sunrise, we’re getting out of time.

We got a paradise, you and I, the palms cover the outside, no eyes around our light, the silence rule this town, the sun is getting down, you promised me the stars, the heat’s still around, I can't remember why we used to run, you’re holding me tight that my fears fade down, I can hear your heart, you’re not only mine, you still hearing their lullabies.

You took the yacht, I was admiring the sunrise, how this turned into a perfect storm, I gave it all, the thunder is over our thoughts, the isle becomes a moor since you stole my forces, I'm always the loser, this is The Great War, you can't fight with the guy ¨always right¨. You just had to take my hand and tell me that this was just a play, you promised me roses, I forgot they got thorns that cut you to the bone.

I can't believe I lived a fallacy, I'm still on the pier watching you vanishing on the horizon, orange, yellow, and red is all I see, they don't chase you, just me, I should’ve heard, summer is a fibber, it takes you high and melts you down, it's like a bad drug you always want more, but where’s the antidote? There’s no cure for falling in love.

◄ Love is a god’s war.

I can’t move on ►

Wow, the imagery of falling in love with the boy from the wrong side of town, loved every image, it made me hold my breath as I read
Thank you
