Where social justice is concerned, I can't take prisoners.
My mum was the youngest of 8.
She left school at 14 to work in a cotton mill.
Those currently in power in the UK (and some of those in opposition) are actively working to destroy everything her generation fought for.

Thanks for explaining your associations. It's clear we all associate differently when we hear songs. Perhaps we should all start to honour our ancestors & predecessors (more). My grandnanny is 97 years old. She grew up in Indonesia, now 50 years in Netherlands. We still Face-Time together with our family in Asia. It's just absurd to think how much the Earth has changed in merely a 100 years! ABSURD
