Wrapped in Golden Ribbon

Today was the day

for total surrender,

born of desperation

and perhaps inspiration.

Today was the day when

the whole package,

every last drop of breath and thought and hope and dreams

was released

to the infinite universe,

to the all-knowing presence of life,

this grand creation of living.

Surrendering came as a gift,

wrapped in golden ribbon,

here, here, here I am,

here, here, here she is,

I give myself, I give my love and worry for her,

to You -- oh master of Love--

I give it all to You.

And with that,

inside the deepest bow,

inside the humblest heart,

peace returned, equally

◄ Infinitely

It's Okay ►

Thank you Hélène for yet more of your thoughtful and calming writing-badly needed in today's world.

And those words; ' Surrendering came as a gift ' I can almost feel them-fabulous!

as is the whole poem-well done Helene!
