A New King

 

Many of us still live in the after glow of the Coronation,

we do so breathless with wonder and fascination.

Once again we are swept off our feet in awe,

as our King and Queen do us all enthral.

 

I prefer to live in a Kingdom with a monarch,

than some money driven self seeking oligarch.

A noble man to serve his people and nation,

is worthy of every salutation.

 

The monarchy is part of our heritage and past,

and I pray that it will always last.

God is King of his heavenly Kingdom,

here on earth we see his celestial wisdom.
