Sincere Souls

 

There are few in life who touch our heart

as they become in our life enshrined and a part.

People of no great apparent distinction or repute

but whose abiding presence touches our very root.

 

From a casual encounter they arrive by grace

and unobtrusively begin to occupy a space.

They enhance and intrigue our very selves

into our hearts they sound like golden bells.

 

They weave themselves into our innate being

gently, softly, glowing and yet are somehow unseen.

When they are eventually called to be above

they leave is with the fragrant language of true love.
