Stanley Park Liverpool

Today is so beautiful in Stanley Park.
Spring time really has left its mark.
The sky all blue, odd speck of white.
A young family I see, flying a kite.
Into the cool breeze it soars and sails.
Trying to keep up, it's fluttering tails.
More work on Liverpool's Stand is done.
As shiny steel beams, blink in the sun.
Four tinted panes of glass now in place.
Mirror like, so the sun can see its face!
On Dahila Walk, the Spring tulip grows.
Beautiful yellow, in their soldier like rows.
I say 'Goodbye' to the park 'see you soon'
And  'thank you for a beautiful afternoon'
