Genomes Beyond The Standard Conditions

 

     From a far off world,

they’re here, have been here for long and now,

     a trade off is offered akin to Moorlock appetites -

     and we; happy to jump in the pot and be their feast.

 

     We have a limited number of years we never live,

but those clever in psychology will manipulate -

     we ‘think’ we own our destiny,

our family and fortune.

 

     Above and at the edge are a multi-tude

of many forms here as witness and as prosecutor,

     sobbing on bridges of galactic craft now knowing

the alarms raised by this worlds horror,

 

     a ‘trade off’ is a bargain our elite

push for as they plead they are only here to

entertain and educate,

     {their rush to build stargate too frantic for an extended stay}.

 

     Beware the witness here,

be very mindful of the hatred your conviction

     and testimony may bring, for theirs is the power

to clone your children, and eat them before you

while bragging the dopple you tend.

 

Rods are exchanged in horror, like a Scorched Earth Policy -

     as a farewell gesture of ill will.
