Tribute To Queen Of England

entry picture

A dark shadow has fallen across the nation.
The moon itself cried off its illumination.

The London bridge has fallen
England's sky appeared sullen

Flowers have refused to produce Nectar.
Sour honey has visited the land.

Her royal majesty has closed her eyes to life.
Queen Elizabeth II has gone to eternal sleep.

A queen and a head of a state.
Courage and loyalty were her traits.
A glorious name, for a glorious queen, with a glorious reign.

Life might have come to seize its time.
But the diamond on your crown will continue to shine.

Politics, culture, religion, tribes, colour, war, economic slides, and pandemic visited you.
Your ability to manage them all and control power showed that you were a robust domineering matriarch.

You embraced many nations into your friendly abode.
Your good economic climate has helped a lot of nations, especially Africans.
Mother to a nation, and of all countries, willing to embrace peace.

You served many nations the fruit of civilisation.
And development began by replanting the seed gotten from those fruits.

Many miles you have travelled
Many places you have seen.
Many prime ministers have stood by your side.

You are as strong as your currency.
Your charming smiles while waving weigh a billion pounds.

The chariot has come to cart you away to eternal glory.
Our memory of you will never fade away.

Live on the queen of England

Queen Elizabeth II
1926 - 2022.
