We’ve got a new PM
Boris is out and Liz is in
She must be thinking right now 
where the hell do I begin

The country is in a mess 
so much is wrong not much is right 
She needs to prove to us all
that she is up for the fight 

The fight for all our futures
our future safety and health 
Our childrens education 
our economy and wealth 

We wait in anticipation  
not knowing what this week will bring 
All we can do is hope and pray
that Liz will do the right thing!  

So the country sits and waits
with fingers and toes crossed 
That some solutions can be found 
and all hope is not lost
