Super yachts take their chosen spot
in the small Turkish bay
Some come to stay for a few weeks
some stay for just a day 

Hundreds of millions of dollars
floating around on the sea
Wealth difficult to comprehend  
for the likes of you and me 

As I am very nosy 
I look them up on an app
Using marine traffic
I can follow them on the map

marked by symbols and dots 
I click on them in turn 
to give me the name of each yacht

There is a list super yachts 
ranked in value and size 
The facts and figures blow my mind
but should come as no surprise 

Even lottery winners
could not afford such luxury 
These yachts are owned by oligarchs 
and ex agents of the KGB 

As the evening draws in 
I’ve done my research for today 
I wonder if tomorrow 
new rich pickings will float my way
