One without the Other

There is no Easter Sunday without Good Friday.

There is no relief, if there is to suffering to relieve

These peaks of happiness mean nothing,

without the depths of despair.

There can be no connection to others,

without a clear and grounded self.

Hope can only take root,

from a place of hopelessness.

Love can only express its importance,

in the face of hate and death.

Love without structure is chaos.

Structure without love is a burden too great to bear.

You cannot thrive on one over the other.

They must work in tandem.

Both equally true.

100% of the time.

The most painful thing anyone can go through,

the place where magic meets reality.

New life,

New creation,

A whole new human being

with limitless potential.

A baby born into this world.

So, again, I say to you,

There can be no Easter Sunday, without Good Friday.
