THE LUTON FREE DIET

I'm on a Luton free diet

though many might decry it

my body can't process Luton,

i'd recommend that others try it.

Denial of entry to Luton

is the only known requirement,

I feel better already as I prepare

to deny it my presence by not going there.

If your body can't process Luton

it seems the place will bring you down,

so once you've got the hang of it

move on to gluten or London Town.

You may remember chicken and fries in a basket then Graham - the drummer there was the cousin of the Hungerford gunman whose surname was Ryan.

Hahaha! Ray
I actually did see Freddie Starr at Caesars. The only time I ever went there!

Sorry I missed your comment Graham. Travelling as a musician I often recall how the motorways pass by such places , often a wise decision! There used to be a club in Luton called Caesars Palace (not the Las Vegas version) that hosted the likes of Freddie Starr in the 70s and 80s. The pay was good and it was close to the Dunstable Downs. All part of the glamorous past!

Nice one Ray! I live quite close to Luton (far enough away) and consider it to be a little like Calais/Boulogne. One drives straight past it on a journey to somewhere much nicer but similarly tarred like Milton Keynes etc.

Very clever idea!

Thanks for all your likes Kevin, Julie and Holden.

Intriguing variation, John!

Not my neck of the woods Stephen, but i'll avoid it just in case...

Could I recommend Harpenden just up the road, Ray? You just need a few spare millions (a bit like Prince Andrew).

My diet's Crete-free, Ray.
