Century

In the eerie silence of the night

When darkness has betrayed the light

Sheepishly it has taken over the warm day

Extending it's coldest fingers to stay

Under the warm blankets of a cold winter eve

Life has been breathed into me relentlessly

Excavating the glories of once lived memories

Paving way into the sunshine that's going to be lived

Diving into the hot springs of tomorrow's dreams

Plunging once again into the pools brimming

Who can say what each can bring for us

It's only a dice to be thrown to predict our future

One last sip of lovely evening to drink

Wrapping the day's work and memoirs living

Bidding a final greeting for the end to see

Another winter morning awaiting gleefully

Nigel that's an appropriate comment. Each day is engulfing the other, day vs night forever....happiness vs sadness....Still hopeful of a better future and each tomorrow. 👍
