Home.

It all led me back to the same place, you know?

Barefoot between twisted trees, standing underneath a gloomy sky

Autumn leaves and memories fell at my feet

A realization hit me; Everywhere I've never been, lived beyond a hollow city of rust.

I had to climb out from this neverending routine

Years of  heartbreak, despair, loss, doubt, trials untangled themselves from my roots the minute I stepped foot on this land

Thinking to myself I said “This undying feeling that I found is proof of healing.”

In the darkest of moments I found home.

I believe it all takes time

Possibly years to learn

When your figuring it out for yourself no one tells you how difficult it may be

All alone you will be to make a path to fit your step

It hurts to be alone

But the struggle is only half the battle

Once you step forward from the brush it all gets a little clearer.
