20. POEM

I'm free to make my own decisions

I'd do whatever I feel like doing

I've nothing to lose anymore

For empty hands have nothing to fear

I'm free to go where ever I wish to

I've made my stand very clear

No one took my responsibility

Without causing me physical harm

So now I take it on my own with care and warmth

I'll do what I wish to do in life

Sit alone near a pond or enter a social hall

I'm not burdened with any obligations

For none had favoured or obliged me at all

I'm alone and lonely but independent

No one bears my expenses, how does it matter now

Blessings few and many keeps showering upon me

And I'm grateful for every breath and every single penny
