When you sit somewhere
long enough
you can learn a thing or two about people
as they go by in endless parade
you can make up your own stories about them
like characters in a book
you can spot the facial resemblances
tween family members
even the body shapes
you can imagine who they are
and what their lives are like
their social status
the way they go about their business
if you sit long enough
in one spot
you can study people and learn
about the peculiarities of human behavior
it's an education you won't get from any book
I never went to college but
I have a masters degree
in the art of Sittin' & Watchin'.

Great. I'm soon going for a PhD in it!
