circle of protection

entry picture

If I could, I'd make for you a circle of protection.

A glade of bluebells where the warm bees drone.

A place of peace for you to sleep in.

A dwelling that you could call your home.

Where tears and fears and dreariness can never reach you

Where obstacles are none.

A place where all is calm and filled with beauty.

And it would be your circle of protection.

It would be always summer there.

A path of rosequartz would heal your tired feet.

And cobwebs shade you as you gently sleep.

Within your circle of protection.

The rage of dire days may come knocking

But I’d not let it enter there.

Rough winds will still themselves

As they pass above

And everything is sheltered

By the armour of my love.
