Donations are essential to keep Write Out Loud going

PLAs TuRd

I haven’t written for a bit

As basically it all been sh*t

The plasterer he hasn’t come

And plastering has not been done

Instead it  sits in powder form

In its bag all forlorn

Waiting to be mixed to paste

Then troweled on with undue haste

One day at work is all  I got

Before he left me like a shot

Another job just up the road

And he’s off like Mr Toad

Leaving me with half a wall

That’s nearly done, I hear you call

Did I pay him ,course I did

Cash up front just like a kid

But that’s him now he’s on the phone

And now it’s him that starts to moan,

I’ve got his tools ,left in a bucket

And as far as I’m concerned , he can f**k it!

Ha-ha. A humorous but suspiciously realistic view of a certain
breed of workman.
The ending here is rather neat
Revenge is often very sweet!
