Let me hold, once more
That special place.
Can't I one more time curl within your embrace?
Or how shall I comprehend
Suddenly so different from my own?
Suddeness? What suddeness is this,
That many months existed?
Disbelief? What disbelief can live
Inside this certain knowledge?
Or shall I let false words
Echo around my mind another moment?
Give me back that certainty,
Proud faith in your love.
Can't I still be stunned by your measure of my worth?
Or shall I only wonder
Where it went,
All that feeling lost into the void.
Hope? What hope for what you don't want?
Desire? What desire?
To be undesirable again?
Or shall I bury my future too,
In the ashes of our past?

Although I won't repost it in love's tempest, since it was already posted in the meditations, the poem 'Repetition' was actually written during this time. (between this and the next in love's tempest)
Here is the link to the WOL post for those who want to visit (or re-visit) the poem:

A rejected love that keeps saying enough but still the hardship of feeling worthless when you are not.
