Happy marriage anniversary

such an occasion to make me happy

you were such a decent guy

who tried to buy anything for me

 

it was not the question of pleasing

but releasing the spirit of the marriage bond

even if we remained not fond of each other

quarrelled over little pretty issued and differed

 

still, we carried on

and the world was shown

about our bond and closeness

that always brought a smile on our face

 

I looked into his eyes

and tried to assess his role

he was never averse to the intimate call

but always fell to my will

 

a woman always tries to accommodate

and also shows

her resolve to accompany till an end

and show it in her trend

and finds

mutual accommodation
