PERFECT DAY

The sun shines bright this day, the sky is so still

Flowers bloom ,in the distance a hill

Horses grazing in the field, golden wheat the farmer will yield

Country lane soiled baked with heat

Cows swishing tails ,green grass they eat

Dogs in yard of cottage painted white

Washing on rope,lady on chair

Reading her book , resting herself

My lunchbreak over, back to city life

Memories of a perfect day, hanging on the ...ART GALLERY WALL

Hello Bernadette, I think the idea of this is a lovely wistful daydream. I think it needs to sound more lyrical, almost like a song that then gets abruptly turned off.

Very nice Bernadette.. Enjoyed reading this - you may want to consider removing these two lines near the end as I am not sure if they are needed 'Reading her book , resting herself

My lunchbreak over, back to city life' as I am not 100% convinced they are really needed.

Enjoyed this however. I know you go to Steve O's group.. Have you showed him this yet? I reckon knowing Steve he'll enjoy this!
