The Faraway Man

entry picture

Far in the distance, a man I see.
One lonely, haunted man is he.
He gazes at both moon and sun.
He wishes his life could be rerun.

In winter he shivers, visits are few.
Turned his back on me and you.
The faraway man, sits and stares.
The world may turn, little he cares.

Winding down time in faraway land.
Wants no offer of shoulder or hand.
That faraway man, I see every day.
He's closer than I think, in every way.

(Always be on the lookout for your mates, some people can hide their loneliness and depression really wel. Take care everyone in these troubled and uncertain times)
