As Yet Untold

The story of my life is not mine to tell,
For it does not matter
What I thought that I might be
And how can I remember
With total accuracy
Anything from the past?

The story of my life is not mine to tell,
For I am so wound around
Other people's lives
And how have I the right
To expose them to the light
And to the world?

The story of my life is not mine to tell,
For it hasn't ended
And it hasn't gone so well
Maybe I need more time
Maybe time will tell
Who I am.

When, eventually,
The story of my life
Will be told by others.

meditationall that I am

Thank you Stephen for commenting, most certainly, depending on the mood and the audience, though the most interesting versions are fantasy mode for an audience of myself. ?

I suppose that we all have a version of our life and perhaps several, to suit different occasions.

The story of your life
is yours to tell
when the time is right.
