Oh dear, what a storm

Though indoors, wrapped up warm

Very strong winds and heavy rain

Causing severe disturbance and pain

 

The trees are moving side to side

Similar to changing patterns of a tide

Thunder and lightning also striking in

Observing it with joy and a cheeky grin

 

The violent outbreak heard in every room

Feels like the midst of cheerless gloom

Not allowing it to halt fun to the day

Get on your gears because we will play

 

Don’t let the storm ruin your mood

Maybe dance or eat your favourite food

Wear that smile, regardless of the disruption

Because it is similar to those that expose corruption!
