A Way Of Living
The trick of the phoenix
Is that he didn't burn.
He flew away while your eyes
Were blinded by the fire,
And back again while smoke
Obscured your vision,
Leaving you searching for explanation
Amongst the ashes.
The trick of the phoenix
Is that he didn't burn.
He flew away while your eyes
Were blinded by the fire,
And back again while smoke
Obscured your vision,
Leaving you searching for explanation
Amongst the ashes.
Shifa, I wish it were often so, but it is really quite rare considering the number of words I get through so I'm glad if some of them seem amazing. I'm happy that you appreciated and liked this poem, thanks sincerely for taking time to comment.
Vautaw thanks also for your like of this and the other phoenix poem, I am glad you like them, there's one more coming soon.
