Blitzen shimmers as she is prancing

Donner thunders across the sky
Dasher hurries along, always dashing
Cupid has found love again 
Rudolph's nose is red and flashing

The reindeers are getting ready
for their busiest night of the year
when they travel the world over
to bring every child a little cheer

The reindeer work together 
Rudolph's nose guides the way
across the dark night sky they fly
steering Santa's magic sleigh

Santa holds tight on the reins
travelling at the speed of light
on Christmas Eve every year
these reindeer take this flight

Just as the sun begins to rise
their hard work has taken its toll
full of mince pies and carrots
they head back to the North Pole

Every child across the world
will soon wake to find a surprise
a present waiting under the tree
and a few crumbs from mince pies
