This is not how life should be.
An awful year over land and sea.
A death toll forever on the rise.                                                                           Have we been told facts or lies?
One too many empty shop floor.
Mental Health cases seen to soar.
Events cancelled, plans on hold.
Endless tales of stress to be told.
Friday the 13th, a day not to trust.
So don't go out unless you must.
Just like so many days this year.
A year of restrictions, one of fear.
I wish we'd never let this year in.
Now I just want normality to begin.
