Catapulted

Catapulted

Sensual and salacious desires arouse the senses

as they race to the fore leaving all else in their wake

As a stream cuts its route through virgin land

a coup has taken place as all control is lost

We kiss, fondle and run with our hands

our innards burn with a passionate ardour

Sinews break from their moorings

as the heart pulsates and reaches fever pitch

We are taken to where it leads us as lambs

words whispered and muttered often inaudible

Nothing else can matter for that time of blissful suspension

we are engrossed, enrapt and captivated out of control

Finally were are quenched, satiated in a spasm of relief

the world comes back into focus as normality is restored

We gasp and hold fast the memory of the moment

as we recover our equilibrium to what is about us

After the moment, decides a lot. The moment is where our senses are subject to our emotion.

Great work Keith
