Frowning can be infectious
you can spread it like the flu
when you frown at someone
they may reflect it back at you
Do you want to wear a frown
or do you really want it gone
When you feel sad and down
do you really want to pass it on
One sad face bearing a frown
could soon get the world infected
so turn that frown upside down
do not leave it uncorrected.

When you post the original one as well it is. That's how it's usually done. Or you add a subtext like 'based on this poem by that author'
Could someone please advise if writing poetry which is based on another persons work is allowed.
I saw this poem yesterday and it inspired my frown poem but not sure if it is acceptable to do so.
If not I will remove this post, Thanks
