To, the Dad

Dad, today's a Father's Day,
and my kids have wished me for the same!

They don't know how much do I miss you,
and your words of love and care.

How much do I miss the hugs,
that never came true, for unknown reasons.

How much do I miss the conversations,
that didn't come alive, though we're always near.

How much do I miss to have said you,
that I love you too, very much.

How much do I miss to have convinced you,
that I am happy and at peace.

How much do I miss to have said you,
that I have kept you in my heart, a safe place.

How much do I miss to have known,
that you were to say us adieu.

Miss you Dad

Yes, Abdul Ahmad, history, sometimes, seems to be very brutal!

We are carried away in wrong directions, and after wrong aspirations, and, unfortunately, remain unaware of the loss, hidden therein.

Thank you, for your heartfelt comments, and a like!

Decisions are made in real time and influenced by our stress on what our priorities at that time were.

Humans often regret history's revelations of that time.

A touching poetry.
