Solitude

In its gentle and peaceful flight

To the rhythm of the sound in romance,

Love got me drunk in the morning.

At the morning sound of the rooster

My soul barely touched the ground,

I was drunk on you oh Love!

You barely passed, I passed away

But when evening came!

The freshness of silence knocked on my door

The sweetness of regret sifted my memories

Like the morning rooster, I cry out

My cry of distress disappears in the waves

The raging and contrary waves

In the evenings, my ship capsizes

It loses it captain, his crew

Shipwrecked, by the river I sleep

Oh ! Loneliness, see, I submit to you

Alone, without strength, she shackles me

Loneliness, sweet and revealing

I submit freely

Loneliness, hard and clever

I surrender without embarrassment

Every sad evening, I wait for dawn

I wait for the sun to rise again

I wait for the rooster to sing again

To still pick the fruits of my passion

Passion that revolves around itself.

You've crafted some beautiful lines in this poem. I particularly like

"But when evening came!"

and

"The freshnesss of silence knocked on my door"

Very evocative.
