Lockdown haiku

Bluer with sunlight.

Less pollution to screen us.

New day still no rain.

Abdul, Mrs F is possibly a better poet than me. At least she knows how to rhyme! Yes, apparently we can see the stars - and indeed Venus, more clearly these days, Graham. Thanks.

The hardest style I think Greg, done nicely here!

Good to record one positive thing about lockdown. Only last night I stood looking at an incredibly bright Venus in the early evening sky, not really dark and wished I had a really powerful telescope to do it justice.

Greg

Blessed sunshine expressed with yearning for the tears that turns grass into colour of envy.

Nice.

Don't allow the present Mrs Freeman stop you haikuing!

Or, as my wife said: 'A haiku? That's not like you.'
