INSTANT HIT

There is a chord in the repertoire

that once struck or plucked

produces instant orgasm in the listener.

Dedication is essential

and the dangers are obvious

of stroke and seizure,

Nevertheless with diligence it can be found. .

Sadly the only musicians to discover it

have died before it could be revealed.

Yes Graham.I think that moment has a real relevance in pop songs as you wait for it and that keeps you in the loop. Classical music can also build up to a recurring theme so there is a sort of peak experience, like a sweet line in poetry. Hang on to your hat!

Don, at it again with that quirky take. I'm still searching.!

On a more serious note about music. although I have not a musical bone in my body, the 'hook' that gets you when you hear a piece of music and think 'wow' sounds to me what you are describing here.

Certain words can do the same I think.

Ahah Greg. Was that with a giant megaphone ; if so it would suit the opening artwork of the shows. If only the nazis had found that chord they might have surrendered automatically? Incidentally, it doesnt work on the accordion.

An interesting observation Mark. I'll check that out - carefully....

Again thanks for checking this out Stephen!.

This had me thinking of the "blue chord" that resonates with certain
emotions. More "medicine for the mind".

This reminds me, Ray, of Monty Python's Great British Joke - or whatever it was called - which was shouted across to Germans on the front line. With similarly fatal results.
