Die a mortal or Immortal?

entry picture

A day will come when we will get older,
Our scars will be printed as wrinkles,
Vultures will sing us a lullaby,
The fallen leaves will abscond from its roots,
The wind will whistle our demise,
The day will cry,
The night will fold its mat,
And rivers will stop running helter-skelter.

There will be a moment of silence,
Our sweat will be sweet as honey
For no sweetness can stand its odor.

The flute will walk along a lonely path,
Sending music to the evil forest
To set fire on the ass of clouds,
Just as time will give us its final hug.

Who will befriend the coffin
And finally, wine and dine with darkness(death)?

I won't die a mortal.
I will die an immortal.

My works will impregnate the earth
And survive the test of time,
Diligent like a loyal shadow
And pure as peace.

Death won't hold me long,
I will teach her the value of life.

The grave will reject my presence,
I can't sleep with mere men
