Biography

Hello! My name is Shanice Matos. I am a Registered Nurse in NC. I am 25 years old and I am still trying to find myself. I loved writing when I was younger, so I thought it would be fun to try and pick it back up. Horror is my favorite topic but I would like to cover all types of topics. Don’t be alarmed by my first poem. It’s back from 2010. I’m really not that sick in my head. Lolz. I love to model as well and run 5k races. I just want to find my Zen by trying new things. Be honest with me guys! I love constructive criticism.

Samples

A Torturous Death Wrists and ankles tied down, Locked, no one can find the key, He could only lay and take the pain, With a mirror above to see. The terrorist stripped his victim, To bring to him more shame, Amputating fingers and toes, His victim's anger, hard to tame. The terrorist sliced his victim, Leaving his intestines to expose, Amputating ears and tongue, In this psycho, a passion arose. The terrorist burned his victim, Gasoline down his throat, Amputating testis and testicle, Victim's song hitting every note. The terrorist finished his victim, A pleasure from using a slow pace, Nothing left to amputate, His tears dried on his face. ~Shanice Matos

I wish i was
a Registered anything...
unfortunately they do not register poets
if they did I would probably not get a tag
for pedigree.

The sample is an example of how a poem could be taken literally or metaphorically and still come out powerfully woven. Well done on it.?
