Biography

Hello humans, I'm Abbie. I've been writing poetry since I was a teenybopper in the back of a three-ring binder that shared pages with my algebra notes. There's something about math and my high school daydreaming state of mind that didn't mix well, so (thank you to procrastination) I started expressing my heart with abstract words that developed into little poems. I was rather content with keeping my thoughts and poetry to myself, but life takes unexpected turns, and sadly my binder that held oh so many words, truths, and raw emotions was tragically lost along with most of my childhood belongings. I've created this account so my poems are kept in a safe space. If by chance my words encourage, inspire, or relate to your heart, I'm glad I could be a light! XOXO

Known

To be known by you fully. Heard by you always. Loved by you completely. Pursued by you daily. Is the greatest gift of all. When you are near, I am me. You heal these scars, I am clean. No greater love, I've yet to know. Peace is your gift, I'm not alone. When I look up, I know I'm home. To know you, and to be known by you. Is life's sweetest adventure.

Hey Abagayle!
I can tell there is a lot you have inside you through your work but never give up on writing.
I know this place would be safe your poems.
