Pete Crompton Breaks Ankle

Pete Crompton (pictured at an event in Wigan earlier this month), well know, well respected and even loved, North West poet has broken his ankle in three places and is currently in hospital in Southport.

The accident occurred whilst he was roller skating and he is awaiting surgery which cannot be undertaken until the swelling goes down.
