A Haunting Within
Raindrops tumbling down my gutter
Tears stream down my cheek but,
I do not utter a sound.
Why cry when everyone is asleep?
So I can let out all the pain and,
hopefully the man upstairs is listening to me.
Please stop these thoughts from lingering.
The repeating images of the things that never seem
to haunt me when the sun is beaming.
