Empty

Empty

In the nascent

empty vessels of time,

I hear your voice.

STONE

STONE

Cold to the touch and as old as time itself, the eons fall by the wayside as the dawns come and go just like rain falling from the sky.

Just now like before things are changing, constantly, forever more.

Nothing stays the same – even the rocks and stones are worn away,

ground away until only sand remains.

Time defeats everything from the dinosaurs to the ic...

GOTHIC STORM

GOTHIC STORM

Gothic storm across the heavens, splitting

the sky in two creating a rip in the fabric

of the sky into which the earth will fall,

doomed and dead into the abyss of time

forever more. We are the generation of the damned,

condemned to be this for the rest of our lives

until we die, by our own hand

or that of Old Father Time or of our enemie...

OCEAN PLANE

OCEAN PLANE

Great, warm wet ocean rolling, curving, boiling cauldron.

Little grains of sand – brown, white, clear, black.

Thrown together onto the beach.

A small layer, a medium layer, a deep layer compressed into rock.

Hundreds of feet thick. Exposed to elements, rain, cold, wind, snow.

No warm carboniferous sun here. Just a windy plateau of a rock face.

Events and Time

I guess my feelings don’t really matter, that I don’t need anyone by my side when I’m down or upset or depressed. Don’t you know I’m just like anyone else? Though I’m different I’m just the same inside don’t you see? Do you know how hard it is to live alone and not have anyone to care for you? And when I meet someone who I thought was special, to let her in and trus...

NEARLY THERE

NEARLY THERE

In less than an hour it will be 1997.

In this short time do you remember?

Do you shrug off the past to make way for the future

or do you hold on to the dying year

seeing every minute disappear before your eyes?

On this, the last day we have been covered by snow

and frozen by the cold as the old God Cronus turns

his hour glass over for ano...

TIME WILL TELL…

TIME WILL TELL…

I’m a prisoner in my own life, got a deluge of violent images bombarding me. Oh god make it stop, it brings me to my knees. I swear I’m not a violent man; my problems from the past are years old, at times they come and get me at night, for those hours I’m on my own and vulnerable in my bed, the assault continues.

I try to use my common sense to distance myself from...

BOULDER

BOULDER

The massive boulder sits in the lea of the moor; it has been here for a million years

and seen everything that has ever happened.

So many tons of stone made up of all of the elements which make up the very

planet itself.

This piece of stone has been here longer than Man himself and it has seen so many years

come and go, from the harsh cold of wi...
