We fly towards the new millennium in a heady rush
of life not knowing where it will end,
or if this is only the beginning of the rest of our lives.
Who has fucked who, who is at war,
who loved who? It all seems inconsequential
compared to the death of the millennium.
Will we be happy or sad when those seconds fall
on a virgin new year?
