Little Bird

Little bird,

Little bird, little bird

the one with the broken wing.

Little bird, little bird,

come over here - i'll help you.

Fix you up, help you chirp and maybe one day to sing.

Little bird, little bird

Don't be afraid

Little bird, Little bird

I'll come to your aid.

Little bird

when you're feeling strong,

spread out your beautiful feathered...

The village idiot

Listen here,

She cut off her ear my dear, her ear.

My dear,

She cut of her ear!

But now I can only shout so loud,

She might not be able to hear-

Dreadful as the pie at noon

You know it will never be apple,

Grapes that ripen at sour spoon

The prostitute left the chapel.

Duke, the duke howls the horn

Twit too-woo

The night is now dawn.

Blinking eyes ...

Splash Skies

Two little red blobs.

Crouching on the ground.

One looks up.

The other looks down .

Blue was the sky.

Grey was the day.

Iv’e had enough.

What can i say?

Is it early?

Is it late?

I try not to contemplate.

I just watch-

Then wait-

They never leave.

Another penny another pound

Natures vines cradle the industry
Black ice slides us into decline.
Amongst the rubble broken fish struggle up the banks.
Mothers watch their flock by night not knowing what to do.
One bean sprout said jack .
A patch work quilt and a two pence piece.
Keep saving , save , saved.
Nothing but a barrel of laughs and a harlequin of delights.
Rattle the cage.
Shine the torch in their eyes and t...

Midnight

Blurring the spectrum.
Acid , Alkaline or just plain neutral.
A dance of ghostly shadows , scar the corner.
Slow motion.
Echos fade.
Look left.
Look right.
Left again just to make sure.
Fuck it.
Eyes closed.
Restless.
Pale air.
Choke.
Breath.
The key boards left on.
A clock fucked up time.
Sleep .
Impossible.
Spider webs sweep up the black.
Monotone.
Stop.
Eyes
Stop.
Blind.

Death

Death is a donkey parting graves on a field.

Death is the coldness between you and the duvet.

Death is the river below the bridge to the other.

Death is the cracks between night and day.

Death is a place that is never seen.

Eternal bliss of hope and madness-

 In its decline-

Carpe Diem

(It was nice to meet you)

A new race

The collision of a new race

Similar faces,

Different ambitions

They all face the same path ahead.

Moaning Stereotypes.

Being in so much debt,

Some eyeballs will eventually pop out.

Pub crawls-

Egotistical men grunting

Their mating calls.

The salty air crisp with the smell,

Of garbage from the flat window.

It’s not my city

It’s ours.

Over po...

Norm

Cardboard cut outs, emotionless with the times.

It’s a new city.

A new generation.

Not a revolution just a communist depression.

Rustic buildings with a withered ageing look of desperation.

Its windows smashed, tired eyed.

Brown, rusty and humiliating.

Smirking in its arrogant glory.

Shameful really.

A blank canvas like the body has its twists and turns.

People,...

Silence on a hard mattress

I am

I am

Slide Down

Count down

Dirty ticket dance special –

Around the sun and moon

Anchor

Corset high

Staring eyes –

Sharp as your stiletto.

     Follow me around the pole-

Bend over,

Jump

     and

Roll

On the black and red chess board,

Whisper,

Nibble me

Hook, line and sinker.

Shadows

Open space around me.

I’d rather be behind glass.

Trapped like a shadow.

Nervousness crept like a rash.

Borders block the light.

Corners seize the day.

A hermit crab I am.

Snails come to play.

Windows are soul.

Open I’d rather be closed.

Me myself and I.

Our sandcastle has lots of holes.

Bridge to the other.

Away under the bed,

Curiosity kil...

The Crawl

Set in stone

My prescription

Taunts -

Stay away from the grave.

It starts-

I freeze a little

Then a lot

My mind a hazy fog,

Little things to move the eye

I wait-

I watch.

Her

Paralysed.

Her body

Possessed by the son of Adam!

It’s fine to recline on the flat of the spine,

With never a thought in one’s head.

But when I want you so ...

Confessions

I want to drop you,

Into the ocean with my palm,

The waves are strong –

Blue, blue, blue more-

Blue

Three girls free float,

Down,

One holds five different,

Sized balloons

Black, white, red, yellow –

Blue

One white hearted child plays,

Madame Jojo is waiting-

To swallow her tears,

Black tears.

Your broken

Geisha mask

Blue, Black eyed horse

Stirrer

Alone

         She sits

Never stands

             Hours pass

Snakes

       Of lace

                    She looks to the floor-

Eyes fixated on the cracks.

Alphabet jumble words ablaze

No moral meaning insight

Grey as the iron clad on the tracks-

Blab BLAB her tongue slithers with delight

Frustrated, her finger nails- snap!

Scented candles cry

Showtime

Take off your top hat.

Greet the ladies with a sincere smile.

Bow to them.

Do not let them see your chest!

Perform

Tease them,

You ARE a boy

I AM a girl-

Lift up your chin,

Let me sink my teeth,

Deep, into your Adams apple

My boy,

I’ll rot you to the core.

Mine, my doll, my darling-

Let me twirl your tight curling locks

I am hidden,

Three is a crowd

A love heart fizzes on my tongue

EAT ME –

Meaningless messages come undone,

BITE ME!

There are water marks on this glass,

Lipstick marks and a chip.

Presentation, please for my Shiraz.

Celebrating a night out – I bite my lip.

Couldn’t you resist?

As the night ends

I have worked the usual eight.

Why didn’t you tell me before?

Your ‘friend’ is staying o...

Behind closed doors

Please,

Take a seat

Sit comfortably,

Pick up a book

Make yourself at home

Can you see me through the telephone wire?

I am waiting for your call

Between the pages

Fall asleep

Dream

Dream about those pages –

I wrote for you

I am here, waiting.

Body Parts

Loop the loop

Pull that knot

Attach my button eyes,

See me

Wink.

Smile-

Nod, my Jack in a box head

Bound to a neck of copper springs

Let me sing

And

Wave-

My floating foam hands,

Kick my Pinocchio legs

And

Dance –Dance- Dance

On

Tiny crippled plastic feet.

I am alive

Reborn!

Do you think I am beautiful?
