Bristol-based publisher Burning-eye Books has teamed up with performance poets Jack Dean and James Bunting to launch one of the first ever anthologies of young performance poets, Rhyming Thunder.
Launching in September 2012, the anthology brings together 20 of the most promising and exciting young spoken-word stars currently performing in the UK. With no criteria of previously published work, the poets have been selected based purely upon their ability as spoken word artists.
To celebrate it we're having a bit of a hoe-down (actual hoes not guaranteed) with the featured poets reading from the book, including:
HARRY BAKER
VANESSA KISUULE
ZARU JOHNSON
EMMA WARD
and your host
JACK DEAN
alongside booze, music and good times. Get down there!
