Open Mic Event
The monthly Jazz Verse Jukebox has been described as "the perfect jazz poetry party" (Michael Horovitz). It's where established and upcoming spoken word poets and singers gather to share their artistry. The brainchild of broadcaster and vocalist Jumoké Fashola, it showcases an amazing line-up of artistes continuing the age-old tradition of intertwining jazz and performance poetry, plus a unique 'jukebox' open mic allowing the audience to showcase their skills of jazz improvisation or spoken word.
