Open Mic Event

Frogs & Jays is an open-mic poetry and arts night running every other Thursday at Lion Coffee + Records. Everyone gets 5-10 minutes - come and perform or share whatever you like, whether it's your work or someone else's. If you'd like to read/perform please contact Frogs & Jays on Facebook or message Fran-Cis Byrne.

For anyone who would like their writing heard but doesn't want to read, we will also have our very own Poem Postbox: drop your poem in and it will be performed by someone else.

Sign up for a slot from 7:00pm and things start at 7:30pm.

Also: there will be fun and games with POETRY ON DEMAND! Have a free poem written for you or for someone you know. Our poets in residence will be busy creating personalised poems for anyone who wants them. And there'll be some communally written stories as well.

FREE ENTRY but please buy a drink or two.

There'll be people playing vinyl after plus beer and cocktails!

Add Fran-Cis Byrne if you want to get invites to the future events and please like the Frogs & Jays: Spoken Word page to hear about other gigs/opportunities!

Entry: FREE

Time: 7:30pm
