thanks for your comments on the poem that should never have been....., was a bit of a heavy hitter for me and I nearly removed it on several occasions - but, I'm glad I didn't.
At the other end of the scale to your 'perfect place', ( that's from my subjective point of view ) and I'm lucky that I have been in that perfect
place with all my little ones.

Thanks for commenting on my latest - yes it was rather a performance piece - hadn't anticipated the language upsetting people on here! Will remember to tone it down in future.

I guess I could work my way through to 'what she wears beneath..' but I might disappoint you all. LOL! No - I'm think I'm done with that one - it was just a brief moment in time where my confidence was shaken - so easily done - I've rallied now - for the next 10 years at least...
Tue 28th Jul 2009 08:47
Thanks for your comment Andy - I would say definitely a page poem - my performance stuff is a lot punchier. Am agonising at the moment about whether to chop it all up and put better structure to it - but am glad you liked it.

Hi Andy, thankyou for your comment on H1N1 influenza! I'm trying to work out where your photo was taken, its good. For me I really like the imagery and perspective of Kemp town. I can reread it and still see it. Very enjoyable, i will have to visit again! Jane

Thanks for your comment Andy - I am always dead nervous putting up a new one - no I haven't performed it - it is hot off the press. Not sure if you ever read my Mixer Tap Madness one - it is several blogs ago but it was inspired by your 3x short poems and seemed to get good comments - your name came up a lot! Cheers for reading. Isobel x

Fri 10th Apr 2009 08:54
thanks for your comment on my latest offering 'the one which nearly got away.'
I see where you're coming from with the first line but will keep it in for performance purposes because of the intention within its contents. Although it isn't a rant, the frustration with it in the beginning, leading to a compromise is part of the making up process in many relationships. :-)
You know me well enough to know that i like to present things as they are rather than beat around the bush. well, at least things the way i see them. ha ha.

Your poem 'Forgotten'
is very thoughtfully written...
makes you pause, think and feel
for innocent victims everywhere.

Thank you for your comment on BillBored, i initially was writing it inspired by an ex partner and how i kept focussing on his positives, but the more i read it the more i apply it to myself- a bit of an awakening. I like your work- you have an air of all-seeing and all-feeling and i love how that shines out from your words. oh and the bursts of laughter too x

Met him ....horrid man!

Thanks for all your comments by the way.
