THE COLOUR OF THOUGHT

Black is an absence of colour

defining an absence of thought,

so let's fall in love with colours instead,

dark sombre chocolate

and variations of dusky ivory,

forget what's in your head.

Can we dismiss green as one tone,

stand at dawn and be cheated of the light?

Should we be judged blinded of love,

allow fear to drive us to extremes

and into the arms of darkness?

HI Ray. Glad you are posting. Was worried you were ill. One man's extreme is another woman's liberation. There's the rub!

Keith, Don, Its just me down there, and Vautaw thanks for reading and liking.

Hi Jennifer. Thanks, glad you got into the flow!

Thanks Graham. I agree that there are many gradations which I have found out through many years of photography , and bright sunny days reveal them. Cheers!

There's colour in everything Ray, although we often don't notice as we rush by it do we?

Sunrises and sets are the obvious ones we all tend to pause to look at but spotting a tiny flower in an otherwise grassy bank is quite a special thing to notice or a small splash of colour in someone's clothing drawing the eye.

It's there alright, it's us that often aren't

regards,

Graham
