AMAZONIAN

AMAZONIAN

would be
famous
if everyone knew
who i was
don't
understand
should have records
of platinum
they don't know
my name
should have
fortune and fame
poured out
my soul
in tales
i've told
should be on
Rolling Stone
producing
pure gold
write like
nobody's business
but haven't made
any hit list
can rock
a line
do it all
the time
yet my star
still doesn't shine
no Globe
or Juno
how i'm missed
i don't know
have a
magic pen
should have albums
of diamond
sticks in
my craw
don't have an
Archibald
but that's
okay
still have a
little runway
maybe i'll
show em
with a mind
blowing poem
or a short
story
chilling and
gory
until then
wait for that Edgar
in my hand
should be
amazonian
but no one knows
who i am
