A rat's prayer

I am a rat and I live in a town,

When the residents see me I bring on a frown.

I climb through takeaway windows don't tell them that,

I'm amazed at my attributes,I'm a skilled acrobat.

I munch with friends, takeaways we do eat,

An assortment of flavours ,every meal  a treat.

I rely on the residents ,who frequently neglect,

Discarding their rubbish ,loads to select.

They can't be bothered to discard at the bins,

Please God do not punish them for their sins.

I love them to bits, they keep me well fed,

If it wasn't for them I surely would be dead.

God bless all humans,

Yours sincerely

Rat

Nature's very own bin men! I enjoyed this Hugh, they are cute & intelligent I'm just scared of them going for my throat. Not seen any for ages though.
