Your life was full of pain.

Know that you were loved

I’ve known you most of my life.

One childhood friend to my mother

I grew up feeling closer to you

Then I found in any other.

 

The things I remember most.

Was your contagious laugh.

The way you make me giggle

You would do for my behalf.

 

My favorite thing about you.

Was a kindness that you had.

Never talked ill about anyone,

Your heart knew no bad.

 

Though I must say good-bye

I know this isn’t farewell.

Now you’re a heavens angel.

Watching over me as well.
